Philosophy

Chinese medicine is strongly connected to its cultural background and philosophy (Daoism). For thousands of years the Chinese have observed life processes and relationships between man and his environment. The attention is directed to the complete physiological and psychological individual.

All relevant information, including the symptom and the patient’s other general characteristics are gathered together, until a “pattern of disharmony” is obtained. From this perspective, Chinese medicine has a very holistic consideration of health and disease.

At Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, we offer gentle treatment.
